Some timber ends were decayed and had to be cut off and a new end spliced on using ROTAFIX epoxy resins which using Kiln dried timber of the same species was as strong as the original.

The Guards Museum in London, had been leaking. The problem was causing free lime to drip from the soffit, which was damaging the exhibits many of which are irreplaceable.

The armoury at Tidworth for the MOD was suffering from rising and penetrating damp in all walls. The building also suffered from the effects of condensation.
